The Istanbul Centre in Brussels is a cultural centre, an exhibition space, a lecture theatre, a cinema, a seminar hall, a library and a resource facility. It is also somewhere to go to swap opinions and sample good food.
Here Istanbul can share the many wonderful things that it has to offer, talk about the things it finds interesting, and listen to and engage with other European cities and regions.
The ICiB is a civic project supported by the elected representatives and civil society activists of Turkey’s largest metropolis – Istanbul. It is an intellectual and cultural platform accountable to a coordination and management board of prominent citizens from both Turkey and EU member states.
