“From Cosmopolitanism to Multiculturalism”, which took place on 3 June at the ICiB, was a well attended and lively debate between the two eminent historians Philip Mansel and Edhem Eldem and chaired by Professor Herald MacLean of Exeter University.
The speakers took a sideways look at Istanbul image as a college of different cultures and civilizations and provoked an hour of interested comments from the floor.
